Senior Capabilities Developer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining Synapse collection pipelines, the full-time Senior Capabilities Developer will write Storm queries, automate processes, and enhance data models to support threat intelligence efforts in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Synapse collection pipelines through Storm queries and automation to ensure accurate threat data flow
• Diagnose and resolve complex defects in Synapse tooling and collection systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Support threat hunting and adversary tracking using telemetry and malware analysis techniques across various threat groups

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, detection engineering, or a related cybersecurity discipline
• Proficiency with Synapse/Storm query language for analytical queries and data manipulation
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex defects in analytical tooling or scripts
• Understanding of Synapse's hypergraph data model and tag structures
• Familiarity with telemetry and malware analysis tools for threat hunting or adversary tracking
