Senior Category Analyst
Job Summary
Transforming retailer and market data into actionable insights, the fully remote Senior Category Analyst will support Whole Foods Market and Sprouts by developing category management strategies, presenting business reviews, and identifying growth opportunities for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Implement category management strategies and develop fact-based category and business reviews
- Present business reviews to clients, articulating trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations
- Analyze data to provide insights on product, placement, pricing, and promotions while monitoring retailer performance trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus 3 - 7 years of CPG industry sales, analytics, insights, or category management experience
- Experience with Whole Foods Market or Sprouts
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Strong experience with SPINS, Circana, NielsenIQ, and retailer POS data
- Experience in selling story development and creating executive-level presentations using visualization tools
