Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Category Manager who will oversee supplier sourcing and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supplier quality improvement
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and guide their development to meet performance goals
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to fulfill quality, price, and service objectives

Required Qualifications

• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a Master's degree in a global procurement environment
• Proven experience in leading high-level negotiations and complex supply chain deals
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred
• Advanced knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes
• US Citizenship is required to apply
