Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a nationally recognized cancer research organization, the full-time salaried Senior Category Manager will develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies, lead complex RFx processes, and manage supplier relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance
• Lead complex RFx processes, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution
• Analyze spend and operational data to identify sourcing opportunities and risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in Category Management or Strategic Sourcing
• Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes and best practices
• Proven experience leading RFx events and contract negotiations
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
