Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

Acting as a category expert, the full-time remote Senior Category Manager will provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive profitable growth for Meijer and Kohl's, collaborating closely with retailer buyers and the Newell sales team.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert, providing thought leadership and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
• Generate reports to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that enhance category growth
• Influence the line review process with data-driven recommendations on product assortment and space allocation

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in consumer goods, particularly in Category Management or Shopper Insights
• 5+ years of experience specifically in category management
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in software such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and present insights to senior executives
