Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

Experienced in category management, the full-time remote Senior Category Manager will leverage analytics to grow existing customer relationships and attract new retail partners while serving as the subject-matter expert on category dynamics and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own consumption data analysis to track and optimize marketing and trade activities, translating macro trends into actionable strategies
• Develop retailer-specific growth opportunities and support the sales team with data-backed selling materials to enhance distribution and merchandising
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure access to insights and analytics that drive strategic priorities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in category management within the consumer goods/food industry
• Proficiency in utilizing Spins, Nielsen, and IRI/Circana data for retail channel sales
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to make informed business decisions
• Knowledge of the natural and grocery retail landscape and experience working with sales teams and brokers
• Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including C-Suite executives
