Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Government Airgap team, the full-time Senior Global Category Manager will independently define and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for complex categories related to datacenter infrastructure, while influencing stakeholders and managing supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Independently define and execute sourcing and category strategies for mechanical and electrical equipment and services
• Serve as a subject matter expert, influencing senior managers and educating stakeholders on sourcing best practices
• Lead high-value negotiations and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with government-specific requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience
• Experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operations
• Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and contract execution
• Familiarity with common process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• U.S. citizenship verification is required due to legal restrictions
