Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Government Airgap team, the full-time Senior Global Category Manager will independently define and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for complex datacenter infrastructure projects, while influencing stakeholders and managing supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute sourcing and category strategies for mechanical and electrical equipment and services
• Influence senior managers and educate stakeholders on sourcing best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
• Lead negotiations and contract executions for high-value engagements, balancing cost, risk, and performance

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor's Degree in the same fields AND 4+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience
• Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and contract execution at the enterprise level
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in spend analytics and category management tooling
• Ability to interact with diverse groups across organizational levels, including executive leadership
