Senior Category Manager, Procurement

Job Summary

Managing a complex portfolio of infrastructure spend, the full-time Senior Category Manager, Procurement will be responsible for strategic sourcing, category management, and contract oversight in a remote environment, focusing on optimizing costs and enhancing supplier performance across various technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and executes category strategies for Infrastructure-related spend, aligning with business priorities and technology roadmaps
• Leads complex sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract renewals to drive value and manage risk
• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and support strategic technology initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
• Demonstrated experience managing Infrastructure sourcing categories, including cloud services and telecommunications
• Proven success in leading complex supplier negotiations and contract renewals
• Strong understanding of infrastructure technology environments and commercial models
