Senior Character Animator

Job Summary

To support a short-term project, the remote Senior Character Animator will create high-quality animations for live-action film and television productions while collaborating with various departments and adhering to the studio's quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality, realistic animation for live-action productions
• Collaborate with Animation, FX, Rigging, and Lighting departments to integrate shots seamlessly
• Process and refine motion capture data in Maya to support character performances

Required qualifications

• Professional experience as a 3D animator in film and/or television VFX
• Strong proficiency animating in Maya from reference, with the ability to own shots through to final
• Solid understanding of anatomy, weight, and physical movement
• Hands-on experience working with motion capture data in Maya
• Ability to thrive in a fast production environment with shifting priorities
