Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations
• Train hospital staff on CDM maintenance processes and charge capture improvements
• Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow and document policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including CDM maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
• 5 years of experience with hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
