Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist to manage the Chargemaster and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster consistency with coding and billing regulations
• Act as a liaison between hospital ministries and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
• Train staff on CDM maintenance processes and improve charge capture compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement or project management experience
• 5 years of experience with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
