Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist, primarily responsible for ensuring compliance and accuracy in the Chargemaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Chargemaster is consistent with coding and billing regulations
• Act as a liaison between hospital ministries and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
• Train hospital staff on CDM maintenance processes and charge capture improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including use of CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
• 5 years of experience working with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
