Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster consistency with coding and billing regulations and accurately represent services provided
• Act as a liaison between Hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department, addressing inquiries and maintaining CDM standards
• Coordinate CDM maintenance workflow and train staff on charge capture improvement and coding updates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including knowledge of coding principles and billing requirements
• 3 years of operational performance improvement or project management experience
• 5 years of experience with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
