Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist, Remote - Most States Eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations and accurately represent services provided
• Act as a liaison between the hospital and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department, addressing inquiries and overseeing CDM maintenance requests
• Train hospital staff on CDM processes, coding updates, and charge capture improvement while coordinating daily CDM maintenance workflow

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including use of CDM Maintenance software and knowledge of billing requirements
• Three years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
• Five years of experience with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• Three years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
