Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Chargemaster Specialist will ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations, act as a liaison between hospital ministries and the Revenue Integrity Chargemaster team, and provide training on CDM processes and updates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Chargemaster to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding regulations
• Respond to inquiries from hospital ministries regarding Chargemaster issues and coordinate daily maintenance workflows
• Document policies and procedures related to Chargemaster maintenance and charge processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including familiarity with CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement or project management experience
• 5 years of experience working with hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
