Senior Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Chargemaster Specialist will ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations, act as a liaison for Hospital ministry inquiries, and provide training on CDM maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the Chargemaster maintenance workflow and ensure adherence to PSJH System standards
• Respond to inquiries from Hospital ministries regarding Chargemaster issues and provide necessary training
• Collaborate with clinical and technology teams on projects impacting charge entry and compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including use of CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement or project management experience
• 5 years of experience with hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
