Senior Check Point Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Check Point Firewall Engineer to provide services to a Federal government client.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement new firewall architectures, upgrades, and features
• Administer Check Point firewalls including updates, upgrades, and policy administration
• Manage and tune additional software blades associated with firewall architecture

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience configuring and administering Check Point Firewalls
• In-depth knowledge of security operations, firewall rules, and security policies
• Strong networking ability with knowledge of firewall platforms
• Check Point certification(s) (e.g. CCSE or CCSA) preferred
• Local candidates to the Washington, DC area are desired for occasional on-site support
