Senior Check Point Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Check Point Firewall Engineer to work in their Washington, DC office or remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer staff to design, plan, and implement new firewall architectures and features
• Administer Check Point firewalls, including updates, upgrades, and policy management
• Manage and tune additional software blades associated with firewall architecture

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and administering Check Point Firewalls
• In-depth knowledge of security operations, including firewall rules and security policies
• Strong networking ability and knowledge of firewall platforms
• Check Point certification(s) (e.g. CCSE or CCSA) is desired
• Local candidates to the Washington, DC area preferred for occasional on-site support
