Senior Chinese to English Localization Specialist

Job Summary

English US Language Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee translation, editing, and proofreading of English video game content from Simplified Chinese
• Act as the linguistic quality owner for assigned projects and ensure consistency with style guides
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide guidance to external linguists on quality and tone

Required Qualifications

• Native-level English speaker with strong proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written and spoken)
• Proven experience in video game localization, ideally in a senior linguistic role
• Strong understanding of LQA workflows and experience with CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados)
• Familiarity with Blizzard IPs and experience working on AAA or live-service games
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in an international team and comfortable in APAC time zones
