Senior Civil Designer
Job Summary
Working remotely or from any Olsson office location, the full-time Senior Civil Designer will focus on grading and utility design for large-scale data center projects, collaborating closely with licensed engineers and utilizing advanced Civil 3D and CAD software to produce detailed drawings and models.
Key responsibilities
- Design utilities and surfaces independently while collaborating with engineers on plans and calculations
- Create accurate and efficient design solutions using Civil 3D software for projects ranging from 20 to over 200 acres
- Produce detailed drawings and models to effectively communicate design intent for multidisciplinary projects
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in drafting or a related field preferred
- 8 or more years of expertise in drafting and design
- Experience in surface creation, analysis, utility design, and BIM coordination
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
