Senior Civil Engineer (PE)

Job Summary

Leading the delivery of civil and land development designs for utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Civil Engineer (PE) will apply advanced engineering judgment and technical leadership while working remotely to ensure high-quality project execution and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Create complex civil engineering plans and documentation for renewable energy projects using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Oversee project portfolios, coordinating schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet quality and compliance standards
• Mentor and supervise staff engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients throughout project lifecycles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Proficiency in civil land development, including grading and drainage design
• Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and design practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and effectively
