Senior Civil Engineer (PE)

Job Summary

Leading the delivery of civil and land development designs for utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Senior Civil Engineer (PE) will apply advanced engineering judgment and technical leadership while collaborating with a mission-driven team in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create complex civil engineering plans and documentation for renewable energy projects using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Oversee project delivery within a portfolio, managing scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure quality execution
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting with proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and design practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
• Professional Civil Engineering (PE) licensure is strongly preferred
