Senior Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Investigating and settling complex workers' compensation subrogation claims, the fully remote Senior Claims Adjuster will manage cases with high exposures, evaluate coverage and liability, and interact with various stakeholders while exercising independent judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex claims with minimal supervision
• Determine coverage, liability, and damages while setting appropriate reserves
• Communicate action plans clearly and manage a full caseload of increased severity claims

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in handling lost time workers' compensation subrogation and third-party negligence
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional claims
• High school diploma and 5 years of related claims experience required
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with claims and business software
