Senior Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Independently conducting detailed analysis of claims, the fully remote Senior Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims while recommending appropriate settlement strategies and action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to investigate claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies
• Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters, negotiating and resolving settlements with involved parties
• Document and communicate claim activity efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file

Required qualifications

• High school diploma
• 7 or more years of related claims experience with a proven track record in handling complex claims
• Active adjuster's licenses in relevant jurisdictions, with a requirement to acquire any additional licenses within a specified timeframe
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with claims and business software
