Job Summary
To enhance the capabilities of the claims team, the full-time Senior Claims Learning & Development Specialist will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for workers' compensation claims, utilizing both in-person and virtual methodologies while collaborating with various teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver training and facilitate learning sessions, adapting methods based on feedback and performance data
- Manage the development and implementation of claims programs, tracking training effectiveness and aligning initiatives with department goals
- Conduct training needs analyses and create engaging learning activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Graduate degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programs in a claims or insurance environment
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery preferred
- 8+ years of Workers' Compensation claim handling experience preferred
