Senior Claims Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Claims Examiner II responsible for handling complex claims and providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently adjudicate complex life, annuity, and RPS death claims, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Serve as an escalation point for unusual cases and lead investigations in collaboration with other departments
• Mentor junior examiners and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in life, annuity, and/or RPS claims required; 10+ years preferred for complex case handling
• Industry certifications (e.g., ALHC, FLMI, Series 6 or 26) strongly preferred
• Expert knowledge of life insurance products and claims processes
• Advanced analytical and decision-making skills
