Senior Claims Representative

Job Summary

Independently managing a portfolio of moderate to complex personal and commercial auto claims, the full-time Senior Claims Representative will handle General Liability Bodily Injury (GL BI) and General Liability Property Damage (GL PD) claims from initial assignment through resolution, with options for remote or hybrid work.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and analyze coverage and liability for claims
• Evaluate damages, establish appropriate reserves, and negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
• Prepare and present claims to authority committees while ensuring accurate documentation and high customer service standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Prior experience handling large and complex claims
• Associate in Claims designation or equivalent continuing education
• Licensed in all states where business is written
• Proficiency with current technology and computer systems
