Senior Claims Representative

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time Senior Claims Representative will manage a portfolio of bodily injury claims, evaluate compensability and liability, conduct investigations, and negotiate settlements within their authority.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability and liability
• Plan and conduct claim investigations to confirm coverage and determine damages
• Negotiate appropriate claim settlements and authorize payments in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling
• Completion of or progress toward a professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC) preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling procedures
