Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates coverage and liability
• Manages and resolves litigated high exposure claims
• Negotiates settlements and oversees counsel in resolving complex claims

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; law degree beneficial but not required
• Minimum of 6 years handling environmental contamination/pollution claims and toxic tort claims
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating large amounts of information
• Excellent negotiation skills with co-carriers and counsel
• Functional knowledge of commercial general liability coverage
