Job Summary

Managing complex medical malpractice claims for Long Term Care clients, the full-time Senior Claims Specialist will analyze technically difficult cases, negotiate settlements, and coordinate legal defense while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex medical malpractice claims, developing action plans for timely resolution
• Negotiates claim settlements and calculates appropriate reserves while monitoring their adequacy throughout the claim lifecycle
• Coordinates legal defense and communicates claim activity with clients, ensuring professional relationships are maintained

Required qualifications

• Six years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Licenses as required for the role
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
