Job Summary

Managing moderately complex Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims, the full-time Senior Claims Specialist - EPL will handle the full claim life cycle, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, and resolution, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes coverage and settles moderately complex EPL claims, ensuring compliance with client expectations and regulatory requirements
• Conducts thorough investigations to determine claims exposure and recommends appropriate settlement strategies
• Negotiates settlements with clients, attorneys, and public adjusters, while preparing reserve and settlement authority requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related claims experience
• Prior experience in specialty claims or ability to handle unique/challenging claims issues
• Must be licensed or able to obtain necessary licenses/certifications for claims handling
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices related to claims processing
• Experience with claims and business software
