Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Claims Specialist, Professional Liability in Long Term Care and Medical Malpractice.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex medical malpractice and long-term care claims to determine exposure and manage claims to resolution
• Conduct investigations, assign reserves, and recommend settlement strategies while coordinating legal defense and monitoring compliance
• Identify fraud and cost containment opportunities, represent the company in legal settings, and maintain professional client relationships

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Licenses as required for the position
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
