Senior Claims Technical Director

Job Summary

Managing a significant inventory of complex claims, the full-time Senior Claims Technical Director will conduct thorough investigations, assess coverage and liability, and formulate strategic approaches to claim resolution, with the option to work onsite in Cincinnati or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee investigations and assessments for claims, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
• Analyze and negotiate settlements, participating in arbitrations and mediations as needed
• Serve as a technical expert, providing recommendations on strategic issues related to claims management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 18 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling
• Completion of a professional designation, such as Associate in Claims (AIC), is preferred
• Extensive technical knowledge and skills in claims management and industry practices
• Proven ability to meet performance targets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
