Senior CLI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior CLI Engineer to join their team and enhance the local development experience while focusing on backend and API work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend APIs and services in TypeScript using NestJS
• Develop CLI tooling that is consistent, secure, and performant across multiple operating systems
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to define end-to-end behavior and ensure high reliability through testing

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend systems and developer-facing tooling
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with production API and server-side code
• Hands-on experience with command-line tools and cross-platform concerns
• Familiarity with package distribution and installation methods
• Solid experience with Git workflow and CI/CD for automated testing and deployment
