Senior Clinical Database Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Clinical Database Designer I will design clinical databases for new studies, perform database modifications, and conduct testing while ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design clinical databases, including case report forms and edit checks, based on requirement specifications
• Perform post go-live database modifications and conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing
• Assist in the creation of integration specifications and support the Data Manager in addressing database-related issues

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or Computer Science
• Five years of related experience in clinical database design
• Two to three years of experience with Inform, iDatafax/DFdiscover, Clinical One, or Medidata Rave
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills in complex team environments
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
