Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of inpatient medical records to identify and address documentation gaps
• Collaborate with clinical providers and various departments to enhance the quality of documentation
• Provide data reports and educational support for required documentation elements to healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

• Education: RN, BSN, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, CCDS, or CDIP
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in CDI and 1 year in nursing, inpatient coding, UM, CM, or related fields
• Proficiency in Clinical Documentation Specialist role and detailed data analysis
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to interpret clinical data
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation requirements
