Senior Clinical Informaticist
Job Summary
To lead the translation of clinical and public health needs into scalable interoperability solutions, the full-time Senior Clinical Informaticist will work remotely, advising executive leaders and collaborating with various stakeholders on initiatives involving HL7 FHIR, public health surveillance, and health data modernization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical informatics activities for federal and state interoperability initiatives
- Translate clinical workflows into business and technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs
- Advise clients on interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR and public health implementation guides
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in clinical informatics, interoperability, or healthcare consulting
- Demonstrated expertise with HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA/C-CDA, and USCDI
- Experience with EHR platforms and interoperability technologies
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
