Senior Clinical Trial Budget Specialist
Job Summary
To support clinical trial operations, the full-time Senior Clinical Trial Budget Specialist will develop, deploy, and administer standardized budgeting approaches, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with budgetary policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Guide clinical operations in the budgeting process, including preparation and negotiation of trial budgets and contracts
- Identify process improvement opportunities and draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and templates
- Monitor budget timelines and provide updates to stakeholders to achieve clinical program milestones
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in budget and contract development
- 4+ years of experience in clinical research
- Experience with contract negotiations preferred
- Knowledge of Clinical Trial Management Systems and advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of coverage analysis and CPT coding
