Senior Cloud AI Developer
Job Summary
Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), the full-time Senior Cloud AI Developer will implement AI-enabled capabilities and create RESTful APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable Java applications for cloud environments, focusing on image-based business workflows
- Create and manage RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external services, ensuring compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product Management to deliver high-quality software solutions and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (8+ years in technology or software development)
- Strong experience in developing backend services and APIs in Java
- Hands-on experience with GCP, including serverless and container-based application deployment
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs with security considerations
- Knowledge of secure engineering practices and familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows
