Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

Providing security oversight for a high-security IRS AWS and Databricks environment, the full-time Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist will monitor platform security, support ATO and continuous monitoring activities, and ensure compliance with FedRAMP High and NIST 800-53 standards in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor AWS/Databricks telemetry for security anomalies and IAM misconfigurations
• Coordinate incident response for security events and serve as a liaison to IRS CSIRC
• Provide senior security guidance on POA&M remediation and security control implementation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FedRAMP High or comparable high-security AWS cloud environments
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty or equivalent certification preferred
• In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and IRS Publication 4812
• Current CISSP, CCSP, or CompTIA Security+ certification
