Senior Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud and Data Architect (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures across AWS and Azure, focusing on data analytics and AI/ML workloads
• Architect and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Synapse, ensuring alignment with the Medallion Architecture
• Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy data warehouse transformation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years in cloud architecture roles
• Proven expertise in AWS and Azure platforms
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong understanding and practical application of Medallion Architecture in data lakehouse environments
