Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Cloud Data Engineer will lead the development and implementation of data pipelines for a cloud-based enterprise data warehouse, collaborating with AI and Automation teams to enhance data accessibility and analytics insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and maintenance of ETL processes, data warehouse, and data models
• Build scalable systems to accommodate business growth and reduce processing costs
• Collaborate with the AI and Automation team to design semantic data models for AI-driven query generation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
• Demonstrated experience building ETL pipelines in cloud-based environments
• Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud-based data platform
• Knowledge of semantic data modeling and data governance principles
