Senior Cloud Data Engineer
Job Summary
To develop and maintain cloud-based data integration solutions, the full-time Senior Cloud Data Engineer will utilize Azure, Snowflake, and related technologies while working remotely in a temp-to-hire position.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, test, and debug software and data integration solutions in cloud environments
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research for developing or modifying information systems
- Design, build, test, and document scalable applications and data solutions, including ETL/ELT processes
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ADLS for cloud-based data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and data ingestion tools (Fivetran, HVR)
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps in data engineering workflows
- Proficiency in documenting ETL designs, data mappings, and architecture
