Senior Cloud Developer (AI/ML)

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote, full-time Senior Full Stack Cloud Developer (AI/ML Integration) to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of secure, scalable cloud applications for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, focusing on full stack development, AI/ML integration, and team mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of full stack cloud applications using modern frameworks and cloud native services
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns while conducting architecture reviews and performance tuning
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications and collaborate with data teams to enhance AI pipelines and workflows

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Java, with expertise in front-end frameworks like React
• Experience building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and managing databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs and building applications that utilize large language models and embeddings
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
