Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role will own and evolve complex application infrastructure, including messaging and eventing systems like Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ, while designing and maintaining infrastructure modules using Terraform and Kubernetes across AWS and Azure.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and maintain application infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and performance across AWS and Azure
• Design and build reusable infrastructure modules with Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes, ensuring documentation and repeatability
• Develop operational runbooks and monitoring frameworks for efficient infrastructure issue resolution

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering focused on application-layer infrastructure
• Proven experience with AWS and Azure, including Kubernetes workloads and cloud security fundamentals
• Hands-on expertise with messaging and eventing systems like Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Amazon SES in production
• Experience building infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm, with a focus on security practices
• Familiarity with FedRamp authorized systems
