Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support the migration of legacy systems and modernization of APIs, the contracted Senior Software / Cloud Engineer will work remotely to develop secure, scalable data pipelines and integrate new enterprise platforms while ensuring compliance with ITGC standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of existing systems to a new solution and modernize the commissions API architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in architectural discussions and provide development support
- Ensure accurate and secure data transfer to support audit readiness throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of software development experience with Java
- Strong experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and Golang for backend development
- Experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, SQS, and Lambda
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and secure data transfer practices
