Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of secure and scalable database platforms, the full-time Senior Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and deploy ClickHouse Cloud solutions for regulated environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated and mission-critical environments
• Build innovative deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems, including disconnected environments
• Optimize ClickHouse Cloud database performance and storage architecture for various deployment models, ensuring compliance with security frameworks

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant software development experience with scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
• Experience with ClickHouse or relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
• Proficiency with Kubernetes tools (Helm, Kustomize, operators) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure, regulated network environments
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Go or Python) for automation and integration
