Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support the delivery of a cloud-native, event-driven platform built on AWS, the remote Senior Cloud Engineer will design and implement microservices, develop Kafka/MSK event flows, and provide technical leadership while ensuring alignment with DevSecOps standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native microservices for appointment and scheduling workflows
• Develop and maintain Kafka/MSK event producers and consumers for event-driven data flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability with external healthcare systems

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS cloud services and event-driven architectures
• Strong knowledge of Kafka/MSK, microservices, and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Jenkins
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch
• Understanding of security best practices, including Zero Trust principles and IAM
