Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full breadth of the AWS cloud environment, the remote Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer will enhance network security, optimize costs, and streamline IT operations while collaborating with the platform engineering team to ensure systems are reliable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated client onboarding experiences and improve Site-to-Site VPN setups for enhanced connectivity
• Continuously monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities across AWS resources, ensuring HIPAA compliance and reducing vulnerability counts over time
• Administer device security and identity management for a distributed team, supporting onboarding and offboarding workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or a related engineering role
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, and IAM
• Proven ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities across cloud resources and application code
• Ability to read and make targeted fixes in Python, C#, or Node.js codebases
